Caring for corten
No paint, no maintenance
Within a few weeks corten steel forms an oxide patina that protects the piece and gives it its colour. During that time some rust may run off in the rain: on light-coloured floors, place it on a base or protect the surface for the first months.
It needs no paint or treatments. Simply remove the ash after use.
